At this point, parent-teacher transparency is practically non-existent. Many public-school officials are stating that parents “do not have the right” to know what their children are learning in school, and they “should not have a say” in their curriculum, either! As the radical left works harder and harder to lock parents out of their kids’ educational lives, our children are being force-fed left-wing propaganda.
Conservative or otherwise “Republican” viewpoints are painted in a negative light. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion tells our children that certain decision-making processes should be based solely up race. Teachers are encouraging our children to explore their sexualities and gender identities in elementary school. Sex education is being introduced as early as third grade. LGBTQ celebrations are mandatory, and religious exemptions are not accepted or “tolerated.”
And the list goes on.
Bible-believing parents are doing their best to raise their children with Christian morals and conservative values. It is their God-given right and responsibility to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). But the right to parent your child has been stripped away by public educational systems. Benjamin Rush was an American physician, politician and educator who is best known for his activities during the American Revolution and for signing the Declaration of Independence. Rush studied at Princeton University and then went on for a medical degree at Edinburgh University. He subsequently returned to Philadelphia to begin his medical practice and pursue publishing. A member of the Continental Congress and signer of the Declaration of Independence, Rush also founded Dickinson College, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
BRALE follows closely in the footsteps of our founding father, Benjamin Rush. Rush emphasized the importance of Bible-based education systems: “We profess to be republicans, and yet we neglect the only means of establishing and perpetuating our republican forms of government, that is, the universal education of our youth in the principles of Christianity, by means of the Bible; for this divine book, above all others, favors that equality among mankind, that respect for just laws.”
Radical leftists have ignored this warning from our Founding Father, and they have completely removed Christianity from today’s public-school systems. Parents no longer have the right to raise their children with Christian values and viewpoints. Kids and teens are no longer allowed to observe their Christian faith in the classroom. And parent-teacher transparency is practically non-existent.
One by one, our liberties are being eliminated by the radical left. The future of this country hangs in the balance, and our children will be the ones who will have to pick up the pieces.
